Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration) and record patient data accurately.
- Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams by escorting them to treatment rooms and positioning them appropriately.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain patient charts with precision.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine analysis, and collect specimens.
- Instruct patients on medications and prepare prescription refill requests.
- Ensure examination rooms are clean, sanitized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate EHR systems (training provided).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients or equipment as needed.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus but not mandatory.
