Responsibilities
- Greet and Check-in Patients: Welcome patients warmly and manage check-in processes efficiently in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Record Patient History: Accurately document patient medical histories and demographics using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Assist with Exams: Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and basic procedures.
- Take Vital Signs: Measure and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Manage Communications: Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and relay messages to the medical team promptly.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and restock medical supplies and office inventory as needed.
- Patient Education: Provide basic health education and instructions to patients based on provider guidance.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree in Healthcare is a plus but not mandatory).
- Experience: No prior medical experience required. We look for a strong willingness to learn.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency with navigating web-based platforms.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients and staff remotely.
