Responsibilities
- Greet patients and check them in upon arrival to ensure a welcoming experience.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits and sterilize medical equipment.
- Administer injections or medications as directed by physicians and under supervision.
- Manage patient records and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately.
- Provide patient education on medications, diets, and post-procedure care.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred but not required (training available).
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient privacy (HIPAA compliance).
