Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor health status continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with established protocols.
- Document patient care plans, interventions, and outcomes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and critical situations.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lift and maneuver patients as required by the role.
