Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse) with high accuracy.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Communicate patient changes in condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient care activities and observations in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be maintained.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and transfer patients up to 50 lbs.
