Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and clinical procedures
- Perform vital sign measurements and accurate patient documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain medical equipment sterility
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Process lab specimens and assist with diagnostic testing
- Manage patient records using EHR systems with precision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical/hospital experience required
- Proficiency in EHR systems and medical terminology
- BLS/CPR certification from accredited provider
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical settings
- High school diploma or equivalent with accredited MA training
