Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain medical records with EHR systems
- Perform vital signs and basic lab tests
- Administer medications under provider supervision
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Ensure sterile exam rooms and equipment readiness
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current MA certification or CMA/RMA credentials
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (days/evenings/weekends)
- New York State MA license
