Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient records using EHR systems (Epic/Meditech)
- Administer injections and medications per physician orders
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory control
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA/RMA) or Georgia medical assistant license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with EHR systems and medical terminology
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Georgia driver's license for travel between sites
