Responsibilities

  • Perform patient vitals, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight monitoring.
  • Prepare patients for examinations by escorting them to the exam room and gathering medical history.
  • Assist providers during examinations and procedures as needed.
  • Perform basic laboratory duties, including blood draws (phlebotomy) and EKGs.
  • Maintain and update patient records in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system accurately and confidentially.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries and coordinating appointments.
  • Ensure the exam rooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized according to hospital protocols.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from an accredited institution.
