Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, accurately recording medical histories and vital signs.
- Assist providers with examinations and clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Perform venipuncture and point-of-care testing (phlebotomy) with precision and care.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and schedule appointments efficiently.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Provide clear patient education on medications, treatment plans, and wellness tips.
- Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure seamless clinic operations.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Associate degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited institution.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- California State Medical Assistant license (or in good standing with eligibility).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
