Your Role:
We are looking for a professional who excels in both clinical and administrative duties, ensuring a seamless patient experience from check-in to check-out.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures with precision and care.
- Vitals & Testing: Accurately measure and record vital signs, perform EKGs, and conduct basic lab tests as required.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a licensed physician or nurse practitioner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) for all assigned patients.
- Patient Coordination: Schedule appointments, verify insurance information, and coordinate follow-up care to ensure patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification: Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant), RMA (Registered Medical Assistant), or equivalent certification required.
- Licensure: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency with EMR/EHR software and strong computer literacy.
