Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians with clinical procedures.
- Record patient medical histories, vitals, and symptoms accurately.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimen collection.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by the provider.
- Maintain sterile examination rooms and manage medical supplies.
- Handle patient scheduling, insurance verification, and front-desk reception duties.
- Assist with patient education and health coaching.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current Arizona Medical Assistant license.
- Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR and BLS certification must be current.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
