Responsibilities

  • Perform routine patient vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, weight, temperature) and record accurate data in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure medical equipment is ready for patient use.
  • Assist providers with patient examinations, minor procedures, and clinical treatments.
  • Manage patient intake, including verifying insurance information, updating medical histories, and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians and under strict supervision.
  • Coordinate patient follow-up appointments, referrals, and prescription refills.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
