What You Will Do
As a vital member of our clinical staff, you will ensure the smooth operation of our medical practice while prioritizing patient comfort and health.
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, update medical records accurately, and handle insurance verification.
- Lab Work: Collect and process lab specimens, perform basic point-of-care testing, and maintain a clean, sterile environment.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients regarding test results, medications, and follow-up appointments.
- Inventory: Monitor and restock examination rooms, medical supplies, and medications as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a physician office or clinic setting preferred.
- Licensure: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
