Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals and medical history reviews accurately.
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams and sterilize medical instruments.
- Manage patient intake, registration, and appointment scheduling.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure strict HIPAA compliance.
- Administer injections and medications as directed by providers.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent is required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
