Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with history taking and vitals.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and EKGs under the supervision of a physician.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by providers.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and ensure accurate documentation.
- Coordinate patient schedules and handle front-desk reception duties.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Current BLS and CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a physician's office or clinic.
- Strong computer proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
