Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and weight monitoring.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians with procedures.
- Administer injections and medications as directed by providers.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referrals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile examination room environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA certification from an accredited institution.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility in scheduling.
- Proficiency with computer systems and Electronic Health Records software.
