Your Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and verify demographic information accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with examination rooms and ensuring privacy.
- Record vital signs and medical histories as directed by physicians.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, draw blood, and administer injections under supervision.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Assist providers during procedures and provide patient education on health maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with various healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in using EMR/EHR software.
