Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate vital signs and patient intake assessments.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Administer injections and perform basic lab tests (phlebotomy) as directed.
- Manage patient records, update Electronic Health Records (EHR), and handle insurance verification.
- Greet patients warmly, manage check-in/check-out processes, and answer general inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment.
Qualifications:
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
