Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and medical procedures, ensuring comfort and privacy.
- Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and symptoms accurately.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Coordinate patient flow, manage appointments, and answer telephones.
- Assist physicians during exams and provide patient education.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- No prior medical experience necessary; we provide training for the right candidates.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate electronic health records.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
