Responsibilities
- Administer injections, perform EKGs, and assist with minor clinical procedures
- Prepare patients for examinations and maintain accurate medical records
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Assist physicians with examinations and treatment procedures
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Perform vital sign assessments and collect specimens
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Athena preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Texas state medical assistant license
