Responsibilities
- Chair-Side Assistance: Assist dentists during examinations, treatments, and surgeries, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Patient Care: Prepare patients for procedures, explain treatment plans, and provide post-operative care instructions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts, treatment records, and medical histories.
- Lab Duties: Process dental impressions, fabricate temporary crowns, and prepare necessary dental materials.
- Sterilization: Strictly adhere to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures to maintain a safe environment.
- Front Desk Support: Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and answer incoming calls.
Qualifications
- License: Current Colorado Dental Assistant license (CDA, RDA, or DA) required.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and Radiography certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a dental setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Reliability: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be punctual.
