Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Prepare and package prescription medications accurately according to state and federal regulations.</li><li>Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.</li><li>Assist the pharmacist in compounding medications and verifying prescriptions.</li><li>Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance information efficiently.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service and answer inquiries regarding prescription refills and medications.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment at all times.</li><li>Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA privacy policies and confidentiality standards.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required (College coursework in Healthcare preferred).</li><li>Must be willing to participate in and complete the paid training program.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.</li><li>Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new pharmacy software systems quickly.</li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for on-site training.</li></ul>
