Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab tests
- Document patient encounters in EMR systems remotely
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Provide telehealth support for follow-up consultations
- Maintain HIPAA compliance for all patient data
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant certificate or diploma
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to adapt to hybrid work environment
- Flexibility to work some evenings/weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
