Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake, accurately recording vital signs and medical histories.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during clinical procedures.
- Administer medications and perform routine laboratory tests and point-of-care testing.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with strict adherence to confidentiality protocols.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups, referrals, and specialist appointments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting.
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or Cerner experience preferred).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
