Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs).
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by registered nurses or physicians.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Florida (TN license accepted for Memphis roles).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not always required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
