Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, including vitals, weight, and medical history collection.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures with precision and care.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain high hygiene standards.
- Administer injections and perform basic laboratory tests (phlebotomy) as directed.
- Update and maintain accurate Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation.
- Manage patient flow, answer phones, and coordinate appointments efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient education.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply.
- Strong computer literacy with experience in EMR/EHR systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
