Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, ECGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments per OSHA standards
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation with precision
- Coordinate patient flow and reduce wait times through efficient scheduling
- Administer injections and immunizations following protocols
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA) required
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in hospital/urgent care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25+ lbs
- Colorado state MA license in good standing
