Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures.
- Record patient medical histories, vitals, and symptoms accurately.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, EKGs, and phlebotomy as required.
- Manage patient scheduling, check-ins, and electronic health records (EHR).
- Administer medications and vaccines under the direct supervision of a physician.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized examination room environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred but not mandatory for top candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
