Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health and provide direct nursing care under the supervision of senior staff.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and apply critical thinking skills to resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) required.
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Texas (or willingness to relocate to Georgia).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification preferred for high-dependency units.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
