Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, accurately recording medical history and symptoms.
- Measure vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) and document results.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures.
- Draw blood and collect laboratory specimens for testing.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems efficiently.
- Assist with administrative duties, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical workspace.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience in a clinical setting is a plus, but we welcome recent graduates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, urgent care environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
