Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Perform accurate patient intake, vitals, and prepare patients for examination.
- Clinical Support: Assist providers during clinical procedures, minor surgeries, and diagnostic tests.
- Record Management: Maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality.
- Medication Support: Administer medications and perform point-of-care testing as directed by providers.
- Coordination: Schedule patient follow-ups and manage appointment flow efficiently.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to sterilization and sanitation protocols to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA, RMA, or MA certification (National or State).
- Licensure: Active Texas State License or eligibility to obtain one.
- CPR: BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong computer proficiency in EHR systems and excellent communication skills.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
