Responsibilities
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and prepare them for examinations.
- Clinical Support: Accurately take vital signs, record medical histories, and assist physicians during patient exams.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient charts, schedule appointments, and handle billing inquiries professionally.
- Environment Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and readiness of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Laboratory Tasks: Collect and prepare blood samples or other specimens for testing.
Qualifications
- Certification: CMA, RMA, or CMAA certification preferred.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
- Licensure: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient privacy.
