Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals assessment, and history taking with precision.
- Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize instruments according to strict protocols.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and ensure accurate charting.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Coordinate with insurance providers for claims and billing verification.
- Provide exceptional customer service and guide patients through their visit.
Qualifications
- Current CMA, RMA, or NCMA certification is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a medical setting.
- Strong working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Proficiency in EHR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to adhere to HIPAA compliance and safety regulations.
