Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients in a timely and professional manner.
- Record vital signs and medical histories accurately.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Assist providers during patient exams and minor procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with the nursing staff to ensure patient flow is efficient.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- High school diploma or GED required.
