Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, obtain medical histories, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist providers during clinical procedures and minor office surgeries.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and laboratory services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment.
- Handle billing and insurance verification processes.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a primary care or specialty setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
