Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient vitals and comprehensive medical history assessments.
- Assist providers during examinations, minor procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment to ensure infection control standards.
- Process laboratory specimens and manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups, referrals, and appointment scheduling.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Strong proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, urgent care environment.
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred.
