Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient flow
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider guidance
- Handle medical supplies inventory and equipment maintenance
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current MA certification or CMA/RMA credential required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a medical setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required
