Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals checks, and medical history assessments.
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR).
- Order and process laboratory specimens and diagnostic tests.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage incoming phone inquiries.
- Ensure examination rooms are sanitized and fully stocked.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification as a CMA or RMA (or willingness to obtain).
- Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
