Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during cardiology procedures
- Perform EKGs, vital signs, and point-of-care lab testing
- Manage electronic health records (Epic) with precision and confidentiality
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Schedule diagnostic tests and coordinate patient referrals
- Inventory management and clinic supply maintenance
- Provide patient education on cardiac health and medication protocols
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in cardiology or specialty practice
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Excellent phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- Strong communication abilities for patient interactions
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure clinical environments
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation
