Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations).
- Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with history taking and basic physicals.
- Perform basic laboratory procedures, including phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and ensure documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Answer phones and greet patients with a professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Associate degree in Medical Assisting (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the AHA.
- Must be available for immediate start (Urgent Hiring).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Current State of California Medical Assistant license (if applicable).
