Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures
- Perform patient vital signs measurements and health screenings
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Administer injections and medications per physician protocols
- Manage electronic health records and patient documentation
- Coordinate patient scheduling and billing processes
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech a plus)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable
