Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy with precision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and medical supplies for daily operations
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Administer injections and immunizations per protocols
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in urgent hiring situations
- Valid California medical assistant permit
