Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests
- Prepare and maintain patient examination rooms
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Update electronic health records (EHR) accurately
- Schedule patient appointments and manage referrals
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant diploma or associate degree required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends (Sat/Sun) and holidays
