Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and comprehensive assessment.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and strict nursing protocols.
- Monitor patient progress closely and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience (new grads with exceptional skills considered).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
