Responsibilities
- Perform accurate vital signs, measurements, and patient assessments.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations.
- Prepare and administer medications according to protocols.
- Perform venipuncture and point-of-care testing (Phlebotomy).
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately.
- Greet patients, verify insurance, and ensure a smooth intake process.
- Provide patient education and support during their visit.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and computer systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
