Responsibilities
- Perform routine patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history reviews.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and ensure accurate documentation.
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by licensed providers.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends with a positive, patient-focused attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records systems.
