Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and medical history documentation.
- Assist physicians and registered nurses with clinical procedures and examinations.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment to ensure infection control standards.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and manage appointment confirmations.
- Process lab specimens and maintain accurate Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients safely.
