Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Perform vital sign checks and EKGs
- Manage patient records and scheduling remotely
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Provide telehealth support for virtual consultations
- Coordinate with healthcare teams for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Active Ohio state medical assistant license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- BLS/CPR certification
