Responsibilities
- Provide remote clinical support including patient assessments, medication reconciliation, and care coordination
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Conduct telehealth patient screenings and preliminary consultations
- Coordinate care between patients, providers, and specialty clinics
- Assist with patient education materials and discharge planning
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, billing documentation, and insurance verification
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations for urgent patient needs
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Strong telehealth platform experience (Zoom for Healthcare, Doxy.me)
- Exceptional communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Tennessee state license or eligible for immediate licensure
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun 8am-8pm)
